Earthling

On an orbital space platform, the crew picks up a strange object during a routine mission.  It appears to be a living seed of some sort.  One of the astronauts comes in direct contact with the seed, causing a pulse that causes a global brownout down on Earth.

Meanwhile on Earth, Judith is a teacher going through a crisis.  She can't get pregnant, and it's causing a rift in her life and marriage.  Unaware of the incident aboard the space station, she begins to have disturbing dreams, and visions of the affected astronaut.  Eventually, a group of people who have been having the same dreams locate her and reveal a devastating truth: they are members of an alien race that has been stranded on Earth disguised as humans.  They had forgotten what they were and have now been awakened to reality.  They decide to seek the seed, which may be the way back home.

An existential, sci-fi thriller, Earthling is the story of a woman’s life-shattering discovery and the crisis she faces in dealing with it.  Featuring impressive special effects, a little gore and memorable performances, the film will leave you haunted and inspired to look beyond what you think you know.  West Coast Premiere.
